What you eat during the "synergy window", the 2 hours directly following your workout, can signficantly impact the health benefits you receive and the results you attain from that investment of time, energy and hard work.

By consuming high gylcemic foods after your workout, especially sugary post-workout recovery drinks or bars sweetened with fructose, you not only negatively impact your insulin sensitivity but you will completely shut down your exercised induced HGH release.

The Dangers of Genetically Modified Foods

THE FDA DOES NOT REQUIRE GMO FOODS TO BE LABELLED

As stated in the video above these foods can have huge health consequences, the extent of which we can't even begin to comprehend.

Even though they don't have to be labelled, there are a few simple ways to avoid these hazardous foods:

1) 75% of processed foods contain GMO ingredients, so make healthy choices and choose organic, unprocessed options.

2) To check whether your fruits and veggies have been genetically altered, look at the PLU code. If it is a 5 digit number starting with an 8 (ex. apples with 84131), than it is a GMO Product. If it is a 5 digit number starting with a 9 (ex. apples with 94131), it is an organic product.
